Melissa and Shawn’s journey began on September 5, 2021, when they were introduced by a mutual friend. From that very first meeting, something special began to unfold. Shawn was captivated by Melissa’s quiet strength and graceful presence, while Melissa found herself drawn to Shawn’s vibrant spirit and deeply caring heart.
What began as a spark soon blossomed into a love rooted in friendship, understanding, and unwavering support.
On November 29, 2025, and on the same day his parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, Shawn asked Melissa the question that would begin their next chapter. With full hearts and no hesitation, she said yes.
And so, their forever begins.
